Cyril Moulin is joining Ace Capital Partners as an Executive Director in September 2021.
Cyril brings 7 years of experience in an executive position in a leading industrial group and 14 years of experience in Investment Banking with a focus on strategic industries and energy.
He began his career at Morgan Stanley in 2001 working initially as an M&A Analyst in the London office and later as an Associate both in New York and in London. In 2005, Cyril moved to Lazard Frères in Paris as an Associate Director in M&A. Cyril then joined the M&A team of CALYON / Crédit Agricole CIB as a Vice President in October 2006. He was promoted Director in January 2010 and became responsible for all Investment Banking transactions (M&A, Equity Capital Markets and Structured Financial Solutions) involving clients within the Power (including Renewable Power) and Utilities sectors worldwide in March 2011. In these positions, Cyril originated and executed major transactions in the Energy sector (sell-side and buy-side processes, privatizations, transnational mergers and IPOs).
Cyril moved to AREVA in January 2015 as a Senior Vice President in charge of M&A leading the Group's €3.2 billion disposal programme and €5 billion recapitalisation process. In 2017, he was promoted as the Head of Strategy and M&A of newly-formed company Orano, reporting to Group CEO, with the responsibility of designing Orano's new strategic development plan. He became a Senior Executive Vice President, part of Orano's Enlarged Executive Committee in 2019.
Cyril graduated from the ESCP business school in 2001. He is fluent in French and in English.
